   Medieval Manuscripts

These fifteen Manuscripts were part of the famous Palatina Library in Heidelberg, Germany, which finally arrived in February 1623 at the Vatican Library in Rome; there they kept their original signature Pal.lat. (Palatini Latini):
five manuscripts were created in Medieval French Language;
three manuscripts are attributed to Conrad Kyeser;
the most beautiful illuminations in this collection here are in Boccaccio's Decamerone.
